Critics – All I Wanna Know

One of the bands who are supporting Scramble favourites Vukovi across their UK tour in March is London “dirt-pop” trio Critics.

I’m not normally one for genres and labels, however the tag those who pick tags have picked for Critics is “Dirt-Pop”, which (if I’m honest) somehow fits. The band’s songs are catchy as hell, yet don’t quite fit the mould of radio-friendly pop-fodder. Instead, there’s a dirty, accessible side which leaves you with a desire to explore further.

Explore further with ‘All I Wanna Know’, the song for which the band released a video for last week. Taken from their debut EP Spilt Milk, the compelling video accompanies the song perfectly, a track filled with raw and confessional lyrics which dissect the aftermath of an unhealthy relationship breakdown.
