Daydream Frenzy – Get Around

We’ve followed Aberdeenshire rock band Daydream Frenzy for a few years now, but they’ve been quiet of recent, which as it turns out is for good reason!

The band has been through some changes with drummer Hamish moving to Hastings in April to start a new career, Ross Yule joining them to replace Hamish, as well as Dan Fletcher taking up the bass position created when original bassist Fraser Henderson moved on to playing guitar in the band. The three-piece is now a four-piece.

Further happenings in the band’s personal lives include singer Donald Barclay having a baby girl which meant the band’s break from music was extended further. However, now with a solid line up they are back and ready to show everyone their new song.

Musicscramble can exclusively share their new single ‘Get Around’ and the video which accompanies it with you today. You can check this out below and then get out and see them at the any (or both) of the following live dates:

Krakatoa, Aberdeen – September 9th

Tunnel, Aberdeen – October 7th (Headline Show)

The song is released digitally on all platforms on October 3rd.
