Scramble favourites Vukovi have not only managed to get on the bill for the Highly Suspect shows in Manchester and London toward the end of November but have also just released their banging new single ‘La Di Da’.
The tone for the song is set early on with Janine Shilstone’s tongue-in-cheek rant about an obnoxious relationship which builds to a crescendo of Hamish’s raw, crunchy guitar – something that’s been missing of late, replaced with more polished tones. Colin Irvine and Jason Trotter driving the rhythm on drums and bass respectively.
It’s a welcome reminder that Vukovi are back on the road to where they were once tipped to be – topping charts and providing their fans with cracking tunes. All of that early promise is being delivered in bitesize chinks in the lead up to the eventual debut, self-titled album release to come in March next year. An album that’s been a long time coming, but on the basis of this single, we’re expecting it to be a belter.
