The Sheepdogs – Stereo, Glasgow, 31/03/16

Canadian rockers The Sheepdogs rolled into Glasgow at the end of March as part of their 18 date UK and European headline tour. The tour came close on the tail of a support for The Temperance Movement across the UK in January.

Playing to a fairly crammed venue the band let us hear much from their fifth album Future Nostalgia as well as a selection of Southern-fried hits from their substantial back catalogue. Having proven to be a bit of big thing in their home country – after scooping four JUNO (Brit equivalent) Awards – it won’t be long before that success is recognised on these shores. Especially if tonight’s show is anything to go by!
