Izzy Bizu – Give Me Love

Izzy Bizu is a singer songwriter born to an Ethiopian mother and English father and raised in South London.

Her rich cultural tapestry has informed her soulful pop soundscape, growing up on a diet of Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse and Marvin Gaye. Izzy’s delicate acoustica threads those nostalgic funk-and-soul elements with a genuine indie spirit.

Having mesmerised audiences at festivals and shows across the summer, she did just the same on Later With Jools, with Mr Holland himself describing the future star as “wonderful”. You can watch that performance of current single ‘Give Me Love’ below, and its a song I just keep going back to time and time again. Its superb.

She has also been announced as supporting Grammy Award winner Foxes 22nd Oct – 29th Oct, and then UK soul upstart Samm Henshaw 4th Nov – 8th Nov, before headlining London in her own right.
