Tijuana Bibles – Ghost Dance

tijuana-bibles-ghost-dance-singleInstantly recognisable via deep, soulful vocals, hypnotic guitar all tied together with the type of thumping drums and bass hooks that are so good they’d have your granny up out of her seat. Tijuana Bibles are a band to be reckoned with in the world of psychedelic rock and have just dropped another stonking single that’ll make your ears so happy that they’ll throw a parade on your face.

‘Ghost Dance’ is the lead single from up and coming EP GHOST / DANCE / MOVEMENT due for release on 4th September, the day prior to their hometown headliner at The Òran Mór in Glasgow’s West End. This gig opens a tour that will see them take in cities across Eastern Europe and Russia as well as the UK.

The Bibles’ video for ‘Ghost Dance’ starts out stripped back and simple, shot in a 70’s widescreen film style set to the backdrop of what seems to be a variety of politically motivated footage. Tony et al enclosed in a white room that plays host to layered imaging and fancy effects that accompany the songs lyrics fantastically well. You can view the video by pressing play below.

Loves getting his gig on but also loves to get behind a camera and capture music in the making. Check out akgphotos.com for more.
