Armstrong – Just Cause

armstrong-13th-note-glasgow-17-january-posterWe reckon that Armstrong are probably Scotland’s newest indie rock band.

They’ve suggested that if you imagine Shirley Manson fronting We Are Scientists then you’re half way there to understanding what they sound like. By mixing choruses you can sing to, and soaring rock anthems Armstrong have the potential to really get noticed.

Although the band the may be new, the members have played Academy tours, festival main stages and the Glasgow Barrowland. Therefore they are no strangers to putting on a show.

Their first track ‘Just Cause’ was recently released and you really need to take a listen now (below). If you like what you hear then they are playing their first ever live show at 13th Note in Glasgow a week tonight, Saturday 17th January.

You can learn more about Armstrong on Facebook and Twitter, as well as keeping track of their Soundcloud page.
