Manic Street Preachers – Walk Me to the Bridge

Manic Street Preachers are back once again with a new album (what is this their 55th?)

With all new material and a companion piece to last year’s Rewind The Film, July sees the release of Futurology. Where Rewind The Film was largely acoustic, Futurology promises to be a more electric affair. I saw the band recently at Glasgow Barrowland where they played two songs fairly impressive songs from the album; one of which bizarrely does not seem to be included on the new album track listing. Renamed perhaps?

Anyway, the first single ‘Walk Me to the Bridge’ is out next month and you can watch the video for it below right now. With obvious German overtones and a bit of an 80s Simple Minds vibe going on, I wait for Futurology with bated breath; it is released on the 7th of July 2014.
